New Year's Day Surprise

Our new son, Noah Samuel Bates, surprised us a bit early (two days) and arrived on January 1st, 2007.

Noah was born at 7:10 pm after a very smooth labor and delivery. Noah weighed in at 7 lbs 8 oz and was 20 ¼ in length.

We are still taking it all in - it has been a surreal and amazing experience. I still can't believe it has all happened!
